Marco van Basten
Marco van Basten, born 31 October 1964 in the Netherlands, and currently he takes the Manager position (the last one was in Ajax).
As a football player he was one of the best forwards of all time and scored 277 goals until he was injured.
Van Basten played in two clubs as a talented Striker:
Ajax (The Netherlands): 1981-1987 he had 133 League Appearances with 128 goals
Milan (Italy): 1987-1993 he had 147 League Appearances with 90 goals
Van Basten got many individual rewards:
- FIFA World Player of the Year in 1992
- World Soccer Player of the Year in 1988 and 1992
- UEFA Best Player of the Year in 1989, 1990 and 1992
- UEFA European Championship Top Scorer and Best Player in 1988
